WOW your storytelling is excellent. advanced language skills, even down to conversational filler words and discourse markers "like" "you know" "so"🔥. I know grammar sucks, I heard some minor errors but they will become more natural in time! I'm sure you inspire others to learn languages! ❤️❤️

Hey! You’re doing so great, Mary. I did not read the words on the screen to make sure I could follow the story and I could :). A few things: the guy said could you LEND me (not borrow me) $2k and asked him to TAKE OUT a loan (not make one). And by the way, that’s wild

Great job! Meme is hard. It’s pronounced “me-EEM,” like cream or dream.

Youre doing great!! My only note would be that we often say "It's fake." Not its a fake." But I'm well aware that's nitpicking. Otherwise, absolutely perfect!!

You did great!! Your English has gotten so good!! Meme is pronounced like the word “me” with the m sound at the end, the e is long. “Mēme”

You did really well I could follow the story really well! One thing I will say though is the word 'meme' is pronounced like the word 'me' but with an m on the end, I’m not too good at descriptions but I guess you'd say it more like 'meem' but like I said you did great 🫶

Hi Mary! when you're talking about money, you want to say the dollars. Two thousand dollars. or $2,000. The symbol comes first, but we say the word after. weird, I know

I love this!! Yes, that’s crazy! A guy he sort of knows (we sometime say “knows casually”) asked for $2,000!! And if he didn’t have it, he could get a loan?!! 😳🤦🏻♀️😂 you are a wonderful story teller!! 🥰❤️

in English we would say "I have a story", "I have tea", or "I have some gossip"
did the guy know your dad?? crazy!
the only advice I would say is the man wanted to borrow from your dad. your dad, would lend, or he would be lending, the money.
"will you lend me money"
"can I borrow some money from you"
does that make sense?

The English word “bank” is pronounced with a ‘long A’ sound. Like the way you pronounce the ‘A’ in “a lot”. ‘Short A’ word sound examples: bat🦇, rat 🐀, cat 🐈 ; totally understood the “knowing OF someone, but not knowing them”. For “his name daddadada”, you could say “he said his name was so and so”. ‘SenT’ is pasT tense: “they sent me home”; ‘SenD’ is present tense: “I send you my best”. Just bc you got a little tongue tied with that one. 😁😁 You’re getting SO good!
