dang.... my gravely has been starting like this in beginning of video since the day I bought it brand new w the kohler engine on it... looks like I have a little maintenance to do this weekend.

I’m so glad you made this video. I had two Kohler engines, one on a cub cadet and the other on a bad boy. I absolutely had nothing but trouble. I switched back to Kawasaki and am glad that I did. To anyone considering buying a new tractor make sure and pass on the Kohler because you will have engine options available. Kawasaki engines are the best by far in my opinion.

most times starter causes that. no compression release on those kils the starters over time. valves tighter helps a bit, but usually only temporarily

off topic but I have a weedeater that starts to flood the engine when I start pulling the rope. Just get a new carb? I've already tried to clean it

I bought this very mower off a guy and it needs the head gaskets and valve cover gaskets changed. I wish you would have went one step deeper into the heads but this helps for part of what I need to do. 🤠💪🏽🇺🇸

First time I’ve seen the valves not be .010 and .020. But good tip on adjusting for the hard crank. Tho I’ve seen them do it brand new
