When I was living an apartment and single, this is literally the meal I lived off of. It was cheap and delicious.

I’ve decided to take either a small microwave or crockpot to DragonCon next year. I’m going to be leaning heavily on your expertise! 🙂

I’ve tried a couple of different brands of those but for me they have this extremely weird chemical aftertaste. Does adding the extras eliminate that if you’ve tasted it too? I personally love Kraft boxed Mac and cheese especially when my husband is deployed and it’s just me. I always add to it but a box can last me days so I’ve tried the single serve cups and the aftertaste just doesn’t work for me. 🥴 But maybe the buffalo ranch would neutralize it.

Mac and cheese is the Swiss army knife of food you can pretty much put anything in there, meats , veggies. and it will only improve it. all about stretching the $

i know it’s the end of the summer and camping season is basically over but you should totally try some camp-friendly budget meals! Or meals that can be cooked only in fire pits, you’d be surprised how many campgrounds let some people without a home stay for down seasons who may have to rely on over-the-fire meals! just an idea for maybe next summer :)
