I’m nonbinary, I’m assigned female at birth. Even if we were close. I would prefer to not see your face because it would make me feel less nonbinary if I’m perceived as female. Even if it pushed me closer to being perceived as male

She can be friends with anyone. But then again term “being friends” is so wide. The purpose of she covers up is to protect herself and make her feel safe. I know nowadays we normalize gender fluidity, attraction and orientation. So then we can’t just judge when it is appropriate to let someone see her face. Even so many trans person trans back
