paying extra for full damage coverage on my rental in Ireland was the best decision I ever made. I scratched the absolute bejeezus out of the driver's side driving as close as possible to the heavily wooded edge of a tiny two-way road 😖

This is no different then driving backroads in Appalachia, some of the roads are narrow, I live on a one lane dirt road and you gotta practically drive into the ditch to go around people sometimes 🤷🏻♀️

My friend swore to God I was a bad driver in Ireland. I kept telling her there is no more room on this road. I made her drive next, an hour in she pulled over, apologized and asked me to go back to driving. Beautiful country, horrible roads.

Driving through the center of killarney on what could only be described as a two way foot path with speed limit signs at 80 kilometers will never stop being insane to me especially when the only thing keeping you from falling off the side of a mountain were some crooked toothpicks and chicken wire 🤣
