That ejections reflex is what you need to feel to be able to push properly and its so upsetting midwives dont wait for that reflex if its safe to. I got very fortunate and my midwife refused to check how dilated I was, told her my body was pushing not me and 20mins later my baby was born

We have suchhhhh similar birth stories that is crazy. You won’t even feel the episiotomy in two or three weeks, but I will say when those stitches come out it can really sting or a day or two going to the bathroom 💞

I had my daughter a few days after you had your boy and have been following along since you first started to share your pregnancy journey. I cried watching this video. The emotions are real. Thank you for talking about the grieving of what was and the transition into parenthood. I’ve felt that. Sending hugs

I just want to say how you birthed takes pure courage. I got induced last night and went 10 hours without the epidural not by choice but due to them thinking I wasn’t in active labour when I was 5cm dilated. Those pains are something else and it’s so amazing to see how strong you and other mummas are that go natural. 🥰 I hope to see my Bub earthside by this arvo. Wish your little family the best 🥰

If they acted like we have a bleed n u only lost 450/500 ml i lost over 600ml n they were so chilled while i was thinking i was dying hahaha … n here im alive 😂
