SHE WAS NEVER LOST: The Amelia Earhart Saga. #AmeliaEarhart #Amelia #Electra US Marines found her Electra on June 18th, 1944 in the only hangar left standing on Aslito airfield on Saipan. I interviewed the US Marine EJ Nabers who decoded the message, then was ordered to guard the plane for 24 hours. He decoded the next message two weeks later that said they were going to test fly her plane, then two to three weeks after that, he decoded the message that said they were going to destroy her plane. I've interviewed other GI's who saw the plane in the hangar, Tom Devine and Doug Bryce - Doug went with a fellow soldier by Jeep to see it in the hangar. I've interviewed other GI's who saw the plane in the hangar, Tom Devine and Doug Bryce - Doug went with a fellow soldier by Jeep to see it in the hangar. I interviewed a vet who was wounded on the first wave on June 6th, 1944 - he said "everyone in the hospital was talking about finding her plane." US Marine Robt Wallack found her briefcase with her maps, passport, turned it over to EJ Nabers commanding officer Lt. Col Clarence Wallace. The US military knew where she was, the Japanese knew where she was, Amelia knew where she was. She landed the Electra on a coral reef on Mili atoll - eyewitnesses saw her bring it down, saw her arrested, saw her slapped and taken aboard a Japanese ship. Over 200 people on Saipan reported seeing her; I interviewed 15 new eyewitnesses in 2013. The book has four decades of research, transcripts - documented details about what happened and why. SHE WAS NEVER LOST; THE AMELIA EARHART SAGA. On Sale now in Audible, Kindle, Paperback and Hard cover at Amazon.
