I hope the officer can counter sue the family cause I’m all for getting paid when the cops do wrong but what about when the suspects do? Ain’t no way they should be able to try to sue and waste tax dollars when there’s concrete video about what a POS their son was

I know that it’s hard to think straight in a situation like this but when he first pulled the gun the officer had the gun in his hand and faced away from himself and a wall. Why not follow through and just force the gun out of his hand. They train for hand to hand combat and disarming. Especially standing that close and hands on the firearm. Yes this absolutely sucks and I hope everyone was okay, but I feel like this may have been avoidable. If I’m missing something please inform me.
