You get the entire thing if you take the 30 years of payments, however, if the lottery is not doing good in the next 30 years, they can also withhold your payments…. A lot of people are saying California will win, however, if you look up every Powerball jackpot since 1992 you will see that Indiana has won more times than any other state, but out of the last 5 huge jackpots like this, California was the winner of 4 of those, someone suggested the other day on Facebook that it’s because California claims 13.3% taxes… which does not surprise me.
