dude, I'm Greek and when I was a child, I thought the lyrics of Macarena were in some type of weird, uncanny version of Greek. Like i would catch greek words here and there and I used to think "this song is in Greek but something isn't quite right" lol

I’m Greek, I was in a gig and a couple next to me were speaking Spanish and I genuinely thought that they were Greek so I went up to them and we were trying back and forth for a while to hear/understand each other and then we realised we weren’t speaking the same language ahaha. They thought I was Spanish as well
