Nasa convinced me to be a "flat earther". Not by using ALL cgi/fisheye lens images a observational evidence, not by "accidentally deleting" all of their telemetry evidence, not even by their random and consistent bubbles in space from their "live" space walks. Its the simple fact that all of their patents assume a flat stationary plane 😱🤷♂️

I can totally obliterate flat earth with one observation. If the earth is flat and the sun and moon circle above us creating night and day, then why can I see the moon during the day but not the sun at night? Makes no sense whatsoever and the globe model accurately predicts what we observe!

My globe proof is every night watching the ISS pass over every 90mins, and witnessing it instantly disappear out of the suns light sooner and sooner each pass over, proving the earths rotation. Theres no other explanation, a simple checkmate

Here’s where I’m at, not that anyone cares. I have no idea what to believe. One side has truly compelling evidence, the other evidence but has to have some magic sprinkled in to make it a reality. I’m on the fence, watching and listening. I do believe one more than the other but still have no concrete evidence of either. Just people bickering back n forth hating each other like it’s political or religious.

No actual scientist believes the earth is flat. They would be smart enough to know that eclipses, sunrise and sunset, seasons, the phases of the moon, the motion of the stars, the midnight sun, and many other things are impossible to explain on a flat earth.

No, just know. We introduced physics with a flat two dimensional plane because it is the most easy to understand and conceptualize for an introduction to a highly complex topic. It doesn’t model the real world in any appreciable way, but it gives us a good approximation to learn the basics before moving onto more complex calculation

You say, gravity isn’t real like it really doesn’t exist. Gravity absolutely exists gravity absolutely is real. What we don’t know about gravity is why it exists. We absolutely know that. There is a force acting upon objects and we call that force gravity. To say gravity isn’t real is the furthest from the truth if gravity wasn’t real, you could jump and never come back to earth. But when you jump you come back down to earth, and the question would be why is that. You weren’t pulled back to the Earth by a magnetic force, you weren’t pulled back to the earth by the strong or weak nuclear force, there was some force that pulled you back towards the Earth when you jumped up. Absolutely the forces real and for you to say otherwise is incorrect.

A flat earther is someone who has been to a beach and knows it’s impossible to flip over an ocean. A plastic globe does not change that, or a NASA picture of a blue marble
