@movinwithmandy: Game Day Puppy Chow 💙🏈⭐️ Funny story: I actually had no idea what puppy chow was until my friend introduced me right after moving to TX! Sooo yummy! Change up the colors and rep your favorite team! Such an easy and fun recipe for your next watch party! Ingredients: - 8 cups Chex cereal (whichever kinds(s) you want!) - 1/2+ cup peanut butter - 1/2 cup Wilton’s Candy Melts (they have colored ones too, blue was sold out so I made blue!) - Ameri-color (oil coloring if you need to color the candy melts) - 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips - Powdered Sugar (added in 1/4 cups) - M&m’s - Almonds - Wilton’s Icing (for almond football stitching) How to: How to: 1. Distribute 8 cups of Chex mix evenly into 2 ziplock baggies 2. Microwave candy melts in 15-30 second increments stirring until smooth. 3. Stir in 1/4 cup PB and microwave again if needed 4. Slowly add coloring if needed, stirring to get the perfect color. 5. Do the same with the chocolate as you did the candy melts. (No coloring needed) (PB here is optional) 6. Pour each melt mixture into the ziplock baggies! Keep colors separated 7. Shake to coat 8. Add powdered sugar in 1/4 cup increments to each bag and coat by shaking the bag. Chex will not be sticky when fully coated. 9. Place onto wax paper and cool (I like mine cooled in the fridge. 10. Decorate the almonds with 3 stitches of icing to make a football, let sit in fridge to harden 11. Combine all ingredients, including almonds and m&ms to make the puppy chow!
