Just another OBGYN sonographer here to say that never in the decade I’ve worked in ultrasound have I thought twice about what fluids are on the table or anywhere else for that matter. Bodies are bodies. Most of us don’t even bat an eye, we are just there to help you 🤍

I’ve never thought about this before, but because of the Sansum Clinic, I’m going to make sure that before I leave my OBGYN appts, I’m going to forever rip the paper off the table & throw it away myself before I leave… 😔💔

an med student going into OBGYN and have worked in several clinics, I can’t even believe the thought crossed their minds bc it hadn’t even crossed mine until I saw the TikTok. Most people that work in women’s health would have never done that!!! We love women!!!

I have suffered medical assault and battery, I haven't been to a GYN appointment in over 10 years because of it. I had an appointment coming up that I had scheduled months ago. saw that post, called and immediately cancelled it.

I’m on an SSRI and I have medical anxiety so I am always a sweaty mess, which is abundantly clear when I stand up. Every person who willingly and happily posed in those photos needs to find a new line of work.

I’m a Paramedic and very regularly see some of the most vulnerable things a human being can go through. My dept also utilizes body cams for ours and the patients protection (heavily protected via HIPAA laws/policies). Never in my WILDEST dreams would I think to myself, hey, let’s snap a pic of this, and secondly, make a video compilation mocking it. Furthermore, WOMEN making fun of female specific healthcare and what comes with it (which is NEVER a delightful experience) is utterly fu**ing shameful!
