I do this because I was an at risk youth myself. I grew up super poor, no lights, no water at times, living in tents at times, my grandma house with crackheads cooking dope in the kitchen stepping all over our feet at night it was up & down but mostly down im talking no Christmas present or birthday present i still dont get any untill this day! I was in & out of the system, and I lost all my best friends to the streets. I am the last one left. I was stabbed at 17 and died twice crossed over. I still remember the other side very vividly. I do this because I am them & and I know what cause me to be a statistic. It took me 21 years to get my life back. I don't want any kid to experience or go through what I went through. So I do events like these & help families in serious situations (behind closed doors) help single moms on mother's day & Valentines day & I make sure they are good for the holidays etc... to help them feel like some cares & help ease the parents' stress of not being able to afford it & the kids stress of seeing their friends have & them not.
