I never believed I needed a savior, and didn’t think one existed. Until I found Jesus and he saved me— and I realized wow, I did need a savior, for a lot of things. As humans, our strength runs out. We can not rely solely on ourselves. We miss details. God acts as a foundation to fall back on when we’re weak, God acts as a watch to reveal what we’re missing, bringing our attention back to what we’re trying to avoid, being faithful when we’re faithless— why? because we are inherently flawed. What exactly he saves us from is many things, but especially from spiritual bondage that we don’t even know we’re in. You know, you can be on your knees AND also strive ahead towards the finished line.

The entire point of salvation is to be delivered of things that corrupt the mind because mind decay causes you to become filled with negative thoughts and emotions , how do u cure depression without having to always move? 😩😩😩 I’m sorry 😢

God also isn’t an impersonal, outside source. He is the source of life ITSELF. Everything exists thru him. Having Jesus as your savior isn’t looking to outside sources for safety because He does the INNER WORK withIN U. Thinking you’re saving yourself by using tools of the world is looking toward outside sources. self help Books, money, therapy, all of these are OUTSIDE sources you’re using to reach inside where Jesus already has direct access to.
