I saw a theory that Margot character is actually reading the book and we are seeing the fantasy she’s creating. That’s why there’s such a hard switch I think in costume design and cinematography. Fingers crossed I’m right 🤞🏼

slide 7 is so funny bc 2011 adaptation is not THAT good. all the adaptations of 'wuthering heights" at the moment do not even reach the title of "almost normal adaptation". That's why it's so funny when they criticize the yet-to-be-released 2026 film exalting old bad adaptations.
