@fathenfarms: This is a post I never wanted to make. Rockstar’s health was declining after his leg surgery was unsuccessful… I reached out to the best vets across the country, but there were no other options left for my buddy 😞. In all of my years of raising birds, this one hurt the most. He was in my life such a short time, but there’s some connections I can’t explain. My life revolved around him this summer. From having coffee with him every morning on my lap, to hour long car rides multiple times of week together, all the way to midnight if I heard he couldn’t sleep 💔. I did everything I could, yet I feel like I failed him.. I had such hope that he would recover.
