Oh my god literally, i was talking about this with my husband! I received a rejection yesterday after i nailed the interview! And I deeply know that it’s okay i will nail another but deeep deep down I felt that I am the problem and I am not good enough! Really thank you for sharing this video.

I had a situation like this however I wasn’t actually super keen on the job, so initially I felt relief. I applied for the experience and to try progress up, but someone else got it. However I was doing the job before it went to the other person and now people still come to me because she doesn’t know how to do it and isn’t present enough for me to show her how. So people still come to me and now I’m stuck in an awkward place because she’s been telling me off about doing things “that’s not my job” but she can’t do it/isn’t there to learn. If I don’t answer people there left in the lurch and can’t proceed but if I handover to her it just comes back to me??

My role was made redundant, no warning, no consultations (under two years service) … struggling to find something else, I’m feeling very low. I have just completed CIPD L5, still nothing… I feel like I am not good enough and no one would want to give me a chance to grow and learn from them.

I got rejected from a job I really wanted. Same day I got an email from another company inviting me for an interview. At first I was I just didn’t care, I was so down on myself. That interview turned into my job a few weeks later

What if it’s consistently happening. I’m 44 and I feel my age is playing a factor in this. I’m not even applying for significant roles. Basic entry level jobs really and I’m not getting them. The 50th job rejection so far - go me!

Thank you for this. Do you have a video for, how to handle a pay disparity? As when you ask for a pay rise, ur told the company isn’t doing well. Then ask for ur salary to be brought up to meet inflation so ur not taking a pay cut, ur given the same answer. But then, ur colleagues have got pay rise, salary brought to meet inflation. What do u say?
