@balochbyc: 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟱𝟭 – 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝘁-𝗜𝗻 Today marks the 51st day of the Islamabad sit-in by families of the forcibly disappeared and detained Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leaders. Despite continuous rain, the families including elderly women and children — carried out a peaceful protest rally in Islamabad to highlight their demands: the immediate release of BYC leaders and an end to enforced disappearances in Balochistan. For over seven weeks, these families have endured rain, heat, harassment, and intimidation, yet their demands remain unmet. Instead of facilitating their right to peaceful assembly, Pakistani authorities have continued to block access to the National Press Club, restrict their movement, and subject participants to surveillance and mistreatment.
