Ppl dont realize that marketing is crucial in any kind of business. And sports are also businesses. Not only motosport but especially motorsport when it comes to sports needs good marketing bc it is very expensive to make happen and its not as mainstream as basketball/football(european but american too) ect. (hopefully this makes sense bc im half asleep)

NASCAR would have never got where it did without massive amounts of marketing from Winston and team sponsors. It would have stayed a southern sport without them.
