As a fan, I really don’t like the push for extra games. What makes football unique is the scarcity, now it feels like there’s always a game on. Bring back 16 games, and no more Thursday nights. It’ll be more exciting.

Pearlman so dramatic. Talk to a million guys who can barely walk. Like Strahan isn’t dancing with the stars or talking shit on Good morning America. Or any other player who went into broadcasting or coaching after they retired. Emmitt Smith’s net worth is 25-27 million as of 2025 from his NFL money and other business ventures. I’d say he’s doing ok.

I've always said the NFLPA is the worst of the major sports league unions - journeyman MLB players can make the same money as NFL stars - same as the NBA and neither one is as physically taxing as the NFL
