ADHD + ASD = I’m both, and no one likes it 🫣 my coping mechanism is to repeatedly point out potential issues and repeatedly suggest *actual* solutions, and when no one acts on them, I no longer feel any responsibility to improve or manage the situation 😂

I did onboarding for a job and they asked me to provide feedback on it. I sent in a list of spelling errors and misalignment with their corporate strategy... They said thanks but I'm realizing now that it's not the feedback they were looking for...

I definitely do bottom up in terms of details - but what’s strange is I also want / need the big picture. AudHD is such a contradiction

My managers get me to look over stuff to find little errors and inconsistencies because I am a bottom up processor. I am very lucky that they have always listened to me. One of my managers loves to give me "side quests" or "murder mysteries" when I get a few little pieces of info and off I go to find all the other information and bring back the completed thing.

Im problematic for asking questions and trying to prevent disasters. For standing up for my patients and making sure things are done correctly. I’ve been demoted, sent to HR for reporting my coworker for not doing her job and asked what I could do better to help her. 🙃 I also have demand avoidance and I loath being told what to do. I can do a better job by myself

If I’m the boss/organizer, I’m a top down processor bc I don’t have to worry about the minutia. If I’m on the other side of a project trying to execute someone else’s vision, I’m a bottom up processor.
