I believe for so long we have romanticized romcoms. Where we see in movies that the man just automatically does said activity and we put that in our head as oh our man that we’re dating is gonna be like that man on the movie in reality it doesn’t really work that way. I think a lot of of us need to heal from bad relationships and take accountability for our actions and having those expectations in our partner although it’s awesome but at the same time there’s sometimes that I don’t pick up on what my boyfriend wants me to do, but he doesn’t get me upset and angry at me like I would be with him because it’s not fair

I pride myself on how attentive I am and my ability to anticipate needs. But anytime I see someone - on an app in real life - talk about wanting stuff without asking, instant swipe left. If you're so tired or jaded or whatever that you are fatigued from the idea of teaching someone how to love you, you're not going to be a joy to serve in my experience.
