I’ll answer truthfully that I work to live but it doesnt mean one is less important than the other. I try my best at work so that I can achieve the things I want in both my professional and personal lives. Being fulfilled in my personal life also allows me to be productive and at my best self at work.

that sounds like an easy one for me. I would have said "I work to live because if I am happy at home, I nourish myself better to come into work, and if I put my health and wellbeing first, it naturally translates into helping other people in my job. If I am living to work, my home life isn't the main focus, and I would neglect my needs. A work life balance is important because I want to be healthy and ready for the day the moment I step into the building." Idk if that's something recruiters wanna hear but that's my honest answer.

Easy, live to work. And I’m not just talking about corporate, everyone needs a project and/or purpose in life. Can you imagine human beings having no sense of work ethic ever, that’s a dangerous and non progressive society. Though, we can talk about capitalism influencing work culture based on financial stability.
