if you send move left / right then dropped packets will corrupt the overall state. Need to send coordinates so dropped packets still give correct current location etc

We can make the other clients notify the server if they consider another client is hacking based of the local rules, then if many clients notify a particular client as hacking, it is considered hacking.

Prediction is not really a part of architecture. It’s a very specific thing implemented on a component level. For example you can predict movement, inventory, over time effects etc

Yeah that is very hard to do. In order to "just send inputs" you must have cross-platform determinism.
