This is a good prediction. I don’t think Russia will have as much power as China. The US will either break up, become a socialist country, or full handmaid’s tale. All are possible realities. Either way nothing is going to be the same here.

Respectfully, this is a very west-centric view of what’s happening in the US. As a Romanian-born US citizen - and a history major - this looks like it’s going the way of the USSR. And saying China and Russia will overtake the power of the US is like saying Romania was a threat to the USSR. I see the US spiraling into autocratic “democracy.” He wants to be Putin/ceaucescu/stalin and so do the people behind him.

Russia has no soft or hard power. China is already the world's superpower in all ways that matter, they will not go to war for perception on the world stage only to invade Taiwan. Last, your Americanism is showing. You guys aren't the world's super power, haven't been for quite some time. You weren't the shoulder in WW1, peaked in WW2. The EU has a significantly better chance at mustering any sensible military effort than America despite the money spent because they still understand how to do things without tying themselves in costly bureaucracy

I don’t think the U.S. will continue to exist as it does today. I think certain parts of the U.S. will secede and form their own sovereign territories. I’ve subscribed to this assumption for about four years now, and it looks like it will happen this way.
