Mad respect sir. Hot take: I have said forever that if you were a woman, Elantris would have been called “romantasy” because a woman wrote it and there is a strong plot point about love and marriage. “Girl books” and “boy books” is a garbage concept and hurts readers and authors alike.

I love this. Girls are allowed to read anything they want, but men can't? they have to follow certain tropes and guidelines? Absolutely not. I have a 45+ Y/O male coworker reading throne of glass. Who cares. They're reading and enjoying themself.
