The new indoor facilities that host shows will be the ones to slowly eliminate the fitting of any species with aerosol products regardless of the stance of the committee hosting the show. Turns out the bill to clean the buildings air system is higher than anyone wants to pay.

Hair makes a big difference even though you can still see skin and that’s mind boggling to me. But as long as skin and hair is good I don’t feel like not fitting will hurt you.

It was our first state fair with a barn full of pig fitting. It does take away from the FFA and 4H kid shows….

This is the problem in show animals! It doesn’t matter. Judges now a days do not care if pigs can walk or not! Up on the toes is now a bad thing! Doesn’t even matter about the leg hair

Taking pride is growing that hair to be able to fluff it over here ….like it’s become a game for me to see how much hair we can get 😂but we’re showing a lamb next season so we can really fluff some hair 😄😄

Here’s the deal, when done properly- it gives you that leading factor over competitors. Once you can master it- I’m all for it. Seems like everybody is looking for that jump to get over the hump. When people see it done right, they notice how much of a positive difference it makes so they try it themselves… Within a competitors mindset- they’re looking to better their project. Therefore, they try to “Fit” the stock themselves. Like I said if it looks good, I’m all for it. If it looks like your local county fair 4H project- leave the rattle can at home.
