I remember when I was an apprentice and got told to go buy a can of stripe spray paint. I knew there was no such thing so went to the movies, KFC and down to the beach returning 20 minutes before knock off time saying I couldn’t find it anywhere.

This is no joke. Just moved into my new home. Had to open the plaster walls due to an unusual noise and BAM, there’s the apprentice still stapled to the studs! Luckily it was under warranty. 😮💨

I remember when I was an apprentice and my boss would send me out to get things that didn't exist but I was well aware these things didn't exist so I'd either go home for a few hours or go to the beach if it was a nice day and go back to site just before knock off and tell the boss that I couldn't find what je needed......joke was on him not on me
