my tapeworm tells me what 2 do :
the ONLY way to fix the afm cam and lifter issue is to replace the cam.and lifters. reprogramming alone doesn't solve the lifter failure issue

So either spend 70 on this or go ahead and spend 350 for an 09 or 450 for a 2017 and it’ll never do it again

Or here’s a idea, just do it properly and do a cam/lifter swap and never have to worry about it at all, or just get a 08 4.8 they didn’t come with any afm/dod until like early to mid 09
