When we started the show 30 seconds in, we said it’s the mom. Then she comes up to be interviewed and said nooooo- it can’t be! She’d be in jail and she wouldn’t have this type of screen time. It’s crazy!

This 1000%!! I had so many questions after watching this but I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought these things. Even the Sheriff was irritating me with his lack of concern. He just wanted everyone to get a new phone and phone number. If Owen’s mom wouldn’t have persisted who knows how long this would have went on! There just was not enough
