I am told that on Twitter you can mute notifications for a specific tweet of yours, and I really wish TikTok had a feature like this. I get really stressed out by the number of notifications when my videos get traction, especially because I see every little argument that people are having with one another, and then don’t have time to go through everything 😭

Yesss I just had my first viral video ever and it literally felt like being on drugs and so stressful and like full blown fear in my body at 78 comments. And then ironically at 500 comments I feel so much more calm. And yes I also feel u on the it being hard when you speak about things the collective unconscious doesn’t want to hear. Also have a look at your Vedic astrology Rahu and Ketu. I just recently learned that my Rahu is literally about being publicly visible.

Speaking as someone who has been dragged online three separate times in the past month and is currently being dragged, you are 100% right. Virality can be so anxiety-inducing because it throws you in front of a whole new audience who doesn’t know you and will make snap judgements about you. I think it all boils down to the reality of the lack of control we as humans really have.
