2 different amps, under your seat is for your door speakers. amp in trunk is for the sub. Those boxes and connectors are adapters for a stock head unit. that rca connector is a lpf adapter. It looks more complicated than it is.

Amp under the seat is for your highs aka door speakers because the radio itself isn’t powerful enough for the speakers

Use the speaker wires coming from an amp. That’s a 4 channel specifically for door speakers and such. You’d have a mono block or class d style amp for subwoofer, that’s why you have another 2 rcas in the trunk those are for your bass amp.

That’s a speaker amplifier, the one in the trunk is for the subs. Different subs, different impedance, different performance, and different sounds. Subs are high signal I believe, uses a lot of power for louder input, speakers are weaker. Like screaming for a while. You get tired.

yeah they're probably for the doors or they were running a stock unit and had a two-way channel to be able to run the stock unit

Amp for regular speakers and amp for sub. Amp under seat was only a 4 channel so that would be door and wherever your back speakers are you want a mono amp for sub (only a left and right channel)

the amp under the seat is just for the door speakers, if i had to guess the amp is ment to take the signal straight from the headunit but whoever owned it wanted to use rca cables through the car instead since rca shields the cable from unwanted frequencies

That Amps for the door speakers so the have more power more power =more loud most after market raids have rcas for front right/left rear right/left and subs so plug the door speaker rcas to those and the sub rcas to the sub woofer rca jack

you run an after market amp for the speakers cause it pushes more power to the speakers than what the head unit can. rca gives you cleaner sound.
