Not hiring fresh grads cos not enough experience, but 30 somethings are also not being hired cos not enough senior experience? So who are these roles for?? These companies need to be investigated for ghost jobs.

I had 15 years experiences in Hotel & Restaurants and 10.years in Tourism I've been unemployed since Sept 2016 till now Sept 2025 from 40.years Old till now I'm already 49 Years Old... Now driving Grab since November 2017 till now.. Been applying Jobs position till now nothing....

AI will automate everything. By then a lot of people will be out of job. Not many know how to & can operate at strategic level. Eg if 80% jobless rate, any country will get riots. It may come a point a universal monthly allowance to unemployed may be needed to be provided by countries.

Companies purposely don’t hire them then can report to relevant authorities then say really cannot find suitable candidates. Finally they get green light to hire FT.

I’m already in my late 40s and only held O level cert I’m started working after my NS doing all sorts of jobs , waiter , promoter , sales etc and each I work at least for a few years before changing to next and because I’m not picky about the pay I get and yes I only was paid $700 when I start out but I held on, I can’t compete with the grads but I held on. Jump at every opportunity you never know when you actually get to find a talent you yourself never knew. I know I found mine.
