im tapping mine at 59.5 because I plan to convert all growth stocks into dividend paying stocks. that way I get a check every month till I die yet the principle never draws down. then the kids can fight over it.

Not touching mine until age 70 …I’m 53 now & mine is maxed out by April every year ….i only have growth ETFs in it & other misc stocks / dividend payers etc are in my brokerage account

I know it's popular with many but I think saving Roth for last isn't the best for everyone. You're going to be paying more taxes than necessary rather than using a withdrawal strategy that involves 401k/brokerage and Roth IRA to pay as little taxes as possible.

you should access it once you hit your highest tax bracket in retirement so you can avoid being taxed higher

Ask your company if they offer a Roth 401k. Where your part grows tax free.
