I understand your concern. I think that someday text messaging will have to go too or people will have to not necessarily see them right away or ever eventually. Fb was fine when by default you got notifications when anyone posted. Tiktok used to even show every like for everything on a hash tag, right? Could anyone find anyone else's video uploaded to YouTube before? Many don't care enough yet, but just consider that rationales for censorship capability will likely almost never step backwards. Consider though excuses for censorship and apply those to texting people, and hopefully the real motives become clear. Offensive texts are the recipient's responsibility to block.

It's probably the way TikTok works videos get checked,optimized,converted and analyzed for all kinds of things what categories is it safe what other videos are related and when it is fully done it gets published maybe sometimes it's busy and gets queued that could also be a reason. But for your own account that doesn't matter because you created it.

Same here, tiktok posts basically go to an AI for filtering and then if it’s safe to post according to tiktok then it’ll show up, most the time this happens within seconds but sometimes takes a while

I use this account for that and I’ve seen some videos get “shadow banned” for a couple of hours. If it takes longer than that I delete and repost

sometimes a quick fix can be to force quit the app, swipe it closed and then clear the cache. this is the fix for when it is stuck at 99%. I'm not sure that will work in this case but you can try it in the future
