My honest review of the viral video recording smart glasses!👇 (you can get your own by tapping the TikTok shop button above the caption) Here’s what I’m super impressed by: They’re actually affordable. A camera & phone you can wear on your face for just $65? I knew I had to try these out for you the moment I saw the price. They’re very user-friendly & do most of the work for you. You won’t have trouble figuring these out, even if you’re not tech savvy. It has lots of features. Not only can you record video & take photos, but you can also take calls, listen to music, & more. If you’re a shy girl like me, these are perfect for recording inconspicuously. They give a very raw, classic vlog feel that I love & think would be great for YouTube, specifically. They look cute on. They come in different lenses & in different shapes. You can choose between square or round as well as clear blue-light or tinted sunglasses for the lenses. That said, here are the cons… The footage is in landscape rather than vertical, making it more fit for YouTube than Reels or TikTok. The quality of the video isn’t as good as a modern-day cell phone. For that reason, I’d suggest it as a secondary filming option rather than your primary option. It’s more ideal for shots where you’re looking straight forward vs looking down, since the camera is at the top of the glasses. I realized halfway through this example vlog that I chose the worst content style to try these on since I’d have to be looking down at the food the whole time lol. Overall: I’m glad I have them! My plan is to continue to use my phone to film short-form vlogs for Reels/Tiktok but try to use the glasses to create longer-form vlogs for YouTube. I’ll keep you updated, but let me know if you have any specific questions in the comments. You can tap the TikTok shop button above the caption to get your own while they’re still on sale!
