12 Days of Christmas Appetizers Pt 9 🎅 Camembert Bread Wreath  dough is easy to make and exactly the same as my pitta bread (you can find this on the 3rd post at the top of my page)  Dough: 320ml water  7g instant yeast  15g sugar  500g strong / bread flour  1 x tsp salt  Cheese filling: 2 x Camembert cheeses  1 x Garlic clove sliced  Rosemary (coat in oil to stop burning)  Cranberries  Honey  Black pepper  Garlic butter  30g melted butter  1 x garlic clove crushed  Parsley  Bread topping  1 x egg  Rock salt  Cranberry sauce  Add lukewarm water, instant yeast and sugar and mix, then add flour and salt and mix again. Mix until combined. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for 5-10 min until smooth. Oil a clean bowl and the top of the clingfilm place the dough in the bowl and cover with the oiled clingfilm. Rest for 1 to 1.5 hours. (If it’s cold in your house you can put it in the oven with your light on)  Once risen decompress the dough and  shape into a ball. Cover for 5 - 10 min while you get the cheese filling ready and add parchment paper to a large baking dish (grease the bottom before the paper so it doesn’t move around)  Add the ball to the dish and using your two first fingers (flour your fingers) on both hands make a hole in the middle and then using just two fingers swirl them around inside to create a bigger hole, use your hands to stretch out the hole and insert the first Camembert. Slice it up as shown and stuff it with sliced garlic, cranberries and oiled rosemary. Top with honey and black pepper. Add the next Camembert and do the same. Cover with a tea towel and rest for 30 min while your oven heats up to 210 C  After 30 min using scissors slice into the dough as shown at a side angle, brush with egg wash and sprinkle some rock salt. Bake on medium low shelf at 210C for 7 min the turn it down to 180C and bake for another 25 mins. Heat the butter up with the crushed garlic then add parsley and spread over the bread as soon as it’s out of the oven, add some cranberry to the top of the cheese, leave for 5 min and enjoy that gooey cheese (don’t forget the bits at bottom 😉)  D 🫶 #fyp #camembert #christmas #appetizer
