As a Portuguese (we do two “kisses” when greeting) I find it funny that people feel that briefly/barely touching cheeks twice is too much but they are completely ok with a full frontal hug. For me that’s a lot more intimate.

In Bosnia they do this 3 times and start on the other side. You can imagine how awkward it is when you nearly kiss because of the different sides 😅
