I disagree. As a daughter who has had to grieve a narcissistic mother who is very much alive and well, it is absolutely devastating. But as a mother having to grieve the death of my child. That is the worst loss ever imaginable. I can live without my mom. My child? I died with him that day.

I was in the car yesterday and Xania Monet “how was I supposed to know” followed by “he ain’t a stranger but act like one” came on and the way I ugly cried…. Listen to them!!! Oh my! The whole album is an emotional wreck… but yessss, it’s so hard!!! Trying to parent when you were never showed healthy relationships is so hard!!! 🫶🏻
