from someone who lost their dad at 10 also, I can honestly and quite sadly say I didn't know him like others knew him who had been around him longer. I literally only have certain memories. I loved and still love my father very much. but there is no way I could describe him and how he lived his life and what he went through day to day or before I was alive. im sure my dad showed me a different side than he did others. when you're a child a parent is gonna try and protect you as much as they can from anything that may harm the child right? Im sorry but I doubt she knows all of the good the bad and the ugly.
