Sometimes I feel like the show is about the therapist, trying to be as professional as she can be when in reality she’s dealing with a really manipulative, awful person and there’s no coming back from it, and I wish she could be more honest instead of having to walk on eggshells, I know she said to one of the couples in the season that she can’t work with them that she’s not the right fit for them, but I wish She was able to be a lot more direct

He may bring judgment, but her condescension is also judgment but I’m not sure she sees it that way. Empathy and understanding from both parties is what needed and it has to be genuine. A person’s nervous system knows when they’re being patronized and/or placated.
