I’m confused too, her dad just got out of the hospital and is about to see him, but she just came from the hospital. Then in the beginning she says she’s from Itah, but lives in Chicago. I could see that. We’re from Tx but live in NC. It could go both ways. Another thing is she says I’m trying to tell him “our dad” why she couldn’t just say “I was trying to tell him dad just got out and headed his way”

Nearly three decades passed before the mystery surrounding Reyna Angélica Marroquín finally came to light. A young woman from El Salvador, Reyna came to the United States in the 1960s in search of a better future. She worked at a New York factory and became involved with her married supervisor, Howard Elkins. In 1969, Reyna became pregnant and told those close to her that she intended to keep the baby. Then, without warning, she disappeared. For almost 30 years, her loved ones were left without answers. In 1999, a renovation at a Nassau County, New York home uncovered a disturbing secret beneath the basement floor. Workers discovered a large metal drum containing the remains of a young woman. Inside were personal belongings and documents that eventually identified the victim as Reyna. The home had previously belonged to Howard Elkins, bringing investigators back to the man connected to Reyna's disappearance. Authorities later said Elkins acknowledged his involvement during a phone conversation. But before he could be arrested or face trial, he died by suicide. There was never a courtroom verdict, but investigators considered the decades-old case solved. Reyna's story remains one of the most chilling examples of how a buried secret can remain hidden for generations. A routine renovation ultimately uncovered the truth and, after nearly 30 years, restored the identity of a woman whose family had spent decades wondering what happened to her. #ReynaAngelicaMarroquin #TrueCrime #ColdCase #UnsolvedMysteries #CrimeHistory Source: @dark_history.by_sush
