Deaf people’s stories are soooo important as well! Fire alarms used to not have flashing lights with them so most deaf people had no idea anything was happening.

I was fine until I saw the collar 😭 9/11 broke my childhood apart, I was 15 and couldn’t believe what had happened… it shattered my sense of safety, every year I cry for myself and everyone else

Michael and Roselle’s story is incredible. Yes, we love the dog, I am so glad they both got out safely, but imagining how much more terrifying it would be for Michael to get out without seeing, and I got a little scared about David running off. Thank you for sharing this story.
