I knew by the way she was talking about her book that I probably was not going to enjoy it. it is rare that a debut novel is good even rarer if it is someone's first book and not their 5th or 6th. she should write many more books and find her voice.

i saw @Rachel Hannah📚 's review of the book (i'm on a bit of a rachel bender, to recover from my nikhil bender) and she did talk about writting something something else. but that's the only take on it i saw, so my buble is kinda small 😅

I don't think there's anything wrong with revisiting an older piece of work with a new perspective and making some changes. I think it takes a new perspective to do that though, and that comes from taking some space and making new things
