@thecooper_coop: 6 weeks is a good time to start introducing your newbies to your oldies. My flock is small (2 passed away and now two are broody) so it’s not too difficult to watch them while they free range together. For the most part, they have been really accepting. There will always be a pecking order and I have been told it’s important to not mess with it.
