Guts didnt just see griffith 🍇 casca, he watched all of his friends die in the eclipse getting sacrificed by the man he dedicated his life to, during the eclipse he lost his eye and arm permanently, after casca (his girlfriend) lost all her memories and she gets trauma everytime she sees guts, guts girlfriend no longer speaks to him or looks at him, then it gets worser by casca giving borth to a DEMON baby because griffith 🍇 casca so its basically griffith and cascas baby but originally if it wasnt for the eclipe it was supposed to be guts. Oh and forgot to mention he also has the brand of sacrifice, which is everytime his brand or curse or whatever you want to call it awakens demons attack guts so it could happen whilst he is asleep so he needs to be alert of that(the brand is permanent btw) then gets the berserker armor and starts losing his color vision, taste and he also ages ( becomes more older) loses lots of blood everytime he uses it. THENN Guts allies does a ritual to help casca gain her memory back she got it back as soon as they finally reunite with eachother, Griffith comes out of nowhere and takes casca away from guts again. Guts is now left with nothing and in the recent manga chapters you can see he has given up and is being sent to execution. Guts has suffered more than anyone on this list.
