My Italian grandmother had to pay. I don’t know what it’s called protection money for her little mom and Pop store in the Bronx while raising five kids as a widow, but you know what she was smart and she was tough and she figured out how to outsmart the guy And the payment soon ended. And that’s the line I come from my other grandmother was equally tough. Just a different story.
