Literally. 32 of the 54 African countries have anti LGBTQAI laws, it’s not like he just pulled it out of thin air. Anti LGBTQAI law was passed in Mali last year, but not a word about that. Ibrahim is improving material conditions for EVERYONE in Burkina Faso….. that will allow them the time to reassess their ideas and policies.

It’s also no ones fault but OUR OWN FAULT that the LGBTQ cause is known internationally as a false flag that’s waved by western nations to further spread death and destruction. We should be having the convo of “why do countries that are decolonizing/fighting for autonomy/etc see LGBTQ access to rights as a threat to their sovereignty and independence? Is it because we name warships Harvey Milk and think letting gay folks join the military is freedom?” The LGBTQ movement has been pinkwashed into a human shield for war crimes abroad. It doesn’t shock me that places actively decolonizing aren’t making LGBTQ rights a priority. There is fear surrounding it.
