I used to go here every spring with my parents (its only like 2 hours from me, im in fl) I love thisvplace, holds so many special memories that are literally priceless. I really miss my parents, they both passed 2 years ago, 6 months a part from another. I've also been inside most of those homes. absolutely amazing history there. to be fair, I was a very nerdy child who really thrived learning about history.

Did the State audit of Jekyll Island Authority for 5 years in the 90's. Staying at the Clubhouse was nice. Still the same beautiful place. Georgia got a great deal buying that island in 1947.

Gould's son died in a freak hunting accident and then it was abandoned, but they also held a 9 day long meeting and it resulted in the creation of the federal reserve act of 1913, 7 years prior to his death. Gould owned the railroads, and also ran multiple children's charities .. shady
